My website, for the longest time, was just a landing page. I decided to use this more actively thanks to an ask from a friend of mine. A co-worker works for a local cat adoption shelter, and needed some help with their WordPress based website. After being away from WP for some time, I decided to step into their website needs, and help bring their website up to speed, and formatted in a more responsive and accepted way.
I figured the best way to make sure that I knew what I was doing with WordPress was to do it with my own website! I have a lot of catch up to do, digging through plugins, messing with admin settings, but I’ll get there eventually! Until then, it’s another skill I can add to my resume, and

I found out today that I couldn’t quite keep up with the amount of work I have from working two jobs. My current IT position is more than full time, and with trying to get the San Francisco office off the ground, I needed something to help out.
I’ve been using OmniFocus for about 6 months, but today installed a trial of OmniPlan. After dumping all the information from various spreadsheets and email threads into a coherent timeline I felt no less under water, but a little better equipped to handle my workload. We’re on schedule here, behind schedule there, taking it one day at a time!

This site used to be a landing page, a placeholder for when I got my web design portfolio up and running. Over the years I’ve fallen in and out of love with the web, moved more towards an app development kick (where I currently reside), and generally immersed myself in computers.
I’m currently the SME for all things Apple at a BPO company, and during my 11 month tenure with the company, I’ve accepted a position as the IT Manager and Business Relationship Manager for a new design thinking oriented research lab in San Francisco. This blog will catalogue my move from Rochester, NY and my transition to the new city, may have some road trip posts, as well as my journey into learning about what design thinking is and my progression into turning this into a lasting career.
