It’s no secret that I’m an Apple nerd. I’ve read all the Steve Jobs Biographies. The first computer I ever came in contact with was a Macintosh Quadra, and while I had a Windows 95 PC at home during middle school years, onto Windows XP, I knew I wanted a Mac for college.
Fast-forward to my 2009 MacBook Pro. As any Mac-nerd (or most of them) will tell you, those Unibody Macs were TANKS. Mine lasted up until last summer, when it met its fate at the hands of a roommate’s beverage. An HDD replacement, and later an SSD and RAM upgrade kept that thing running like a champ.
